Privacy Policy

This policy explains how NutriVital (nutrivital.id) handles personal data collected through this website. The site is operated from Jl. Jend. Sudirman No. 52, Senayan, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, 12190, Indonesia. It covers what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can contact us about your data.

You do not need an account to read our nutrition guides. Personal data reaches us in two ways: details you choose to type into the contact form or send by email, and a smaller set of technical records your browser creates while you browse. The sections below describe both, in the order you are most likely to run into them.

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide voluntarily through the contact form or by email, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. We also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit, such as browser type, device type, and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and to understand which guides are read.

In practice that means we know your name and reply address only because you typed them, and we never ask for an identity document, a payment reference, or a record of what you eat. The technical records are counted in aggregate: browser family, device class, the pages that were opened in a session, and the approximate region an internet address resolves to.

How we use your information

Contact details are used to respond to your message and to track corrections and topic suggestions. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Technical data is used in aggregate to maintain the site, monitor performance, and improve content. We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.

When you point out a mistake in a guide, we keep a short note of the correction so the same wording is not repeated elsewhere. When you suggest a topic, we read it and add it to an internal list. Neither of those records is published, and neither is shared with anyone outside the small team that maintains the site.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to support basic functionality and, where enabled, to measure site usage. Details of the cookie types used and how to manage them are set out in our Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some may affect how the site works.

What this looks like on a normal visit: a small number of functional cookies remember your choices between pages, and, if you allow it, a measurement cookie notes which pages were opened so we can see which guides are worth expanding. Nothing in that measurement identifies you by name.

Read the Cookie Policy for the cookie types we set and how to switch them off.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with service providers who support the operation of the site, such as hosting and analytics providers, and only to the extent needed for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

Those providers work under written terms that limit them to running the site on our behalf, and they cannot reuse your details for their own purposes. If a lawful request arrives, we check that it is valid and specific, and we disclose only what the request actually covers.

Data retention

Contact messages and related details are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, track corrections, and maintain editorial records. Technical and analytics data is retained for a limited period consistent with the purpose described above. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

A correction note usually outlives the original message because it protects later readers from the same mistake. Everything else follows a short cycle: once a request is answered and no follow-up is open, we clear it. Where a record is genuinely useful for editorial history, we strip names and email addresses first and keep only the substance.

What we hold, and for how long

Read the rows the way you would read an ingredient list: what is held, why it exists, and when it goes.

Amounts and periods

Name and reply address from a message you send Kept until answered
Phone number, when you choose to leave one Optional
Correction and topic notes from your message Editorial record
Browser and device records counted in aggregate Limited period
Pages opened in a browsing session Aggregate only

No column above carries a record of what you eat, your measurements, or anything you did not type yourself. When a row reaches the end of its period, we delete it or turn it into a form that no longer points at you.

Your rights and contact

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data you have provided, and you can object to certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected] or call +62 21 5297 6843. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Verification stays light. If the request comes from the same address you wrote to us from, a short reply confirming intent is usually enough. If you ask us to delete a record we are keeping for a correction trail, we will explain what stays and why before we act.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our practices change or if required by law. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

The date at the top of this page moves whenever the wording changes, so you can tell at a glance whether you are reading something new. If a change affects what we do with details you have already sent us, we will say so plainly in the section it touches rather than leaving it buried in a revision line.

Before you write to us

Send only what the request needs. Your email address and a short description of what you want changed are usually enough; there is no need to attach documents or paste in a full message history.

One practical limit: our website team handles data requests, and questions about the nutrition guides themselves are better answered through the Contact page, where the reply route is a better fit.
